Cybercriminals have between a 10% - 45% chance of getting past your AV with Web Malware (depending on the product)

Cybercriminals have between 25% - 97% chance of compromising your machine using exploits (depending on the product)

Expect use of exploits to increase since it is far more effective than traditional malware

Windows 7 & Windows Vista Ultimate

What was tested:
Client-side exploits against applications such as Windows® Internet Explorer®, Mozilla® Firefox®, Apple® Quicktime®, and Adobe® Acrobat®.
Based on Jan's post at Exploit Toolkit Infects One in Ten Users via Outdated Java, they should have tested against Java as well.

I just finished reading the latest results of NSS Labs Consumer Endpoint Protection and was quite shocked by their results. It goes to show that one should never rely solely on one set of results when looking at ant-malware products. Here's a snip of their 17 day recurring test.
