    Avast

Hi all, bit of a newbie, so bear with me.

I am running Windows 7 (32 bit) upgraded from Vista.

I ran Avast scan earlier and it found 467 files infected with win32: enistery (susp)
I tried to move them to chest but was told "They could not be found?"

I then ran a boot scan which found the same 467 infected files, so I choose the option to repair. This it did, but on re-start, I got the message my Version of Windows 7 was not authentic.

I bought the upgrade disc from Amazon (UK) a few months ago and everything was fine till I ran this boot scan.

Any advise greatly accepted. PS keep it simple

    Forget Avast
Download Microsoft Security Essentials , that will soon tell you if your system is legal, it won't load it if its not validated, if it does load your system is OK.

If ok a scan will show any nasties.

You have to use the Avast setup to uninstall the program...

Do a full scan with Malwarebytes. If threats are detected, make sure all of them are selected first before starting the removal process.
