Every other day, MSE asks me to do a scan

    Hey guys!

I have noticed that every other day, MSE's system tray icon turns into yellow and tells me that I am potentially unprotected because I haven't scanned my computer for a while. MSE notified me a while ago and so I did a scan. The last scan I peformed before tonight was last Wednesday. Unlike before, I have to wait for a week or longer for MSE to notify me to perform a scan. Is this happening to you?

I'm running MSE v2 beta and I have set a scheduled scan every Sunday at 10:00am.

    Thanks a lot,
    Francis

Perhaps one of these solutions might work for you:

    - The date and time on the PC are incorrect, check the month/day/year/time and fix them and reboot

    OR

    - reinstall MSE

    OR

    - go to the settings tab and turn off auto scans

The date and time aren't incorrect, and reinstalling MSE would be my last resort. I have unchecked the scheduled scan option. I'll observe MSE's behaviour tomorrow. Gotta go to bed. Good night!
