    Malwarebites and MSE!

i was having a discussion with another forum member and we couldn't decide whether it is OK to have them both running simultaneous, I'm of the persuasion you can but ... correct me if I'm wrong!

Why would you need to? Why not just on demand scans with MBAM?

    Boo,
I run MSE but I think the free version of MBAM is only on demand. So every week I update MBAM and do a scan with it.

    Hello,

I think you can run both. Malwarebytes paid edition only have real time protection but MSE has the real time. If your running Free edition of Malwarebytes then you can run both. If it's paid one i think then it's just a waste of resource to run 2 AV's with Real time protection.

Every post I've seen says no. But, one poster says it can be done with exclusions applied to MSE.

But it's still a valid question. Would the Pro version of Malwarebytes run along side MSE?

Best of luck trying to achieve that.

I run Mban Pro, Mse and Avast with no conflicts at all.
