Can you put some programs on the "safe list" to keep the nag screen from running. I run these 2,3 times a day. Tx

To the best of my knowledge, there is only one setting. If others know of a way of setting one program differently from the others, I would be interested, too.
I don't think so, without modifying files within windows itself.
What is your UAC level at right now?
Hello Meebers,
Sorry, but there is not a safe list with UAC. However, you could use the tutorial below to create elevated shortcuts with Task Scheduler to run the programs elevated without a UAC prompt and still have UAC turned on.

Hope this helps,

After I installed my special Garmin software on my PC, I was bugged by UAC every time I started the app. I simply right clicked on the program icon, selected properties, then on the securities tab. At the bottom of the securities tab I un-checked "Run this Program as an Administrator"
Problem solved. I'm not sure, but I think if the program is installed from the administrator account, it will default to run as administrator with UAC.
I have no option under the security tab to "un-check" Here is link to what I am seeing.

From a principal standpoint, the reason that you don't really want a UAC safe whitelist of applications is that you should want that application to warn you when it needs to elevate privs. Looking at it a different way, what would stop a hacker from modifying the UAC safe whitelist and then inserting their application which would then auto elevate without you knowing it and potentially wreak havoc on your machine?
