Guys, read this at TechSpot. Be careful at Social Networking sites like Facebook and, as usual, keep your anti-virus and anti-malware up to date.....

I read that in an email newsletter from PCWorld (I think) and a couple of other newsletters I am subscribed to from other companies. I have 3 Macs of my own and 1 PC and have to say that I am surprised the Macs have been virus free for this long. This might be the start of a long road for the Macs as viruses come...who knows...

I think the next gen of viruses / malware will target ipads / iphones more than macs per se. With the rise and rise of the iphone, it makes it and its variants including ipad, one big target. Then next step...Android.

iPhones are jail broken by a known exploit that allows the jail break website to automatically install / change files on the device. I'm sure that if the jail break site can do that to an iPhone, then other websites could do it too-- for malicious reasons though.

Cell phones etc have mobile banking enabled on them, so I see no reason for them not to be targeted.
