Windows defender pops up automatically on startup

Recently on starup windows defender pops up and says the service has not started. Then it starts. This is a new installation and it happened about a wk later. I checked the services and it was set to delayed, i changed it to auto. But the problem is still there. Sometimes it even pops up but says that it is started. I dont know how to stop this, in all my time of tech support never came across this problem.

    Welcome
For a test download and use Microsoft Security Essentials
Defender will be included with MSE and your current Defender will be turned off by default
MSE is one of the best AV for Windows.
Start with System Restore, so you can go back if not happy.

well this is a gaming machine, so i dont want any av on this. i use av on my main machine. if nobody including myself can figure it out then i might have too.

on a 2nd note i used ultimate windows tweaker on another machine and after a few reboots the same thing started happening with windows defender. i went back and restored all the defaults but it did not help.

If its a gaming computer and you don't want any Antivirus programs running just stop Defender from starting at start-up

I hope the computer is not connected to the Internet without any protection
