    Looking for a New Anti-Virus

I've read the sticky, and I'm not sure what I'm reading on there. Kaspersky is giving me tons of False Positives and it's beginning to get ridiculous. I was looking at G-Data, Vipre, or Norton.

Does anyone use either of these 3

I use Norton Internet Security 2011 without any problems/false positives.

I have heard some good things about MSE (and its free too)....give that a go.

I ended up buying Norton. I'm not a fan of MSE, or any Free Anti-Virus. I feel better protected with a PAID software, just a personal preference

Whether it is paid for or not doesn't make any difference on how well it works. If offer to sell you a 1982 Ford Pinto or give you a 2002 Honda Civic for free, do you really think that the fact that you paid for the Ford Pinto would make it more reliable?

If you insist on a paid version, I would only spend money on ESET or Norton based on the good stuff I have heard about both lately. But I still trust MSE or Avast! free more than I do NIS.

MSE "Plays well" with other AV's (from what I've seen on other posts), whatever you choose, MSE is a good thing to have running in the background.

It plays well with Norton 360 and Comodo on my sys. No problems

I have tried MSE and Avast! but have settled on Norton IS. Check Office Depot as they have it for FREE with two rebates. It is $59.99 with free shipping through Saturday. There is a $30 rebate for buying at Office Depot and another $30 if you have a previous copy of any Norton product or a copy of any security product from another vendor. This if for 3 PC's.

Here is the link for the rebates. They are PDF files and has all the information.
