Facebook trojan
I need a trojan remover. I have AVAST. I went to my Facebook and went to a help group to ask a question about facebook and first time today I get a Trojan blocked on that group.

If the message you received was from Avast then you probably do not need a trojan removal program as avast has done it's job and prevented the trojan on the Facebook page or app from infecting your system.
If you are saying that Avast failed to prevent the download of the trojan then we will need more information to formulate a solution, starting with the name of the trojan
Hi,
The best thing you can do is to run MalwareBytes and see if it comes up with anything.
As so many FB accounts get hacked you may want to change your E-Mail & Password using the 'Account Settings'. This would involve getting a new E-Mail account but would give the piece of mind that once again only you know the details.
OS
I wouldn't . I'm not sure of the procedure to report this trojan to facebook or, given their record on security, if reporting it would be effective.
The trojan could be linked to a particular post on FB or the group as a whole, so I would definitely avoid the group until something is done at their end to protect against the threat.
You may also want to perform a full avast scan on your system to confirm that nothing else has got onto your system, just to be sure :)
Have you told Avast to quarantine the Trojan?Yes its a message that pops up on the right hand bottom of the page as trojan horse blocked
