A lot here are using Avast, Avira, and AVG without problems. I myself have been using Avast since 7000, and have pretty much zero problems with it.

Ive also tried BitDefender with 7 and it caused that my computer only could start in safe mode. I'm using Avast! Professional and have used it since i switched to 7. Ive had no problems at all, all though i have AVG as backup if there should be any problems. The pro. edition cost a little, but you can also get it in a free home edition on avast! website.
