Best way to Block a Website

Whats the best way to completely block a Website in it's entirety?

More specifically, I want to completely block a PC from accessing Facebook, but only that site.

    Hello Jessie,

This can allow you to set it like this in Internet Explorer. :)

Internet Explorer Content Advisor - Allow or Block Specific Websites

    Hope this helps,

The custom host file method works in Firefox.

Windows has a host file and you can add any site you want to it.

The host file is found in C windows system32 drivers etc.

Another great feature of the HOSTS file is that it is a two-way file, meaning if some parasite does get into your system (usually bundled with other products) the culprit cannot get out (call home) as long as the necessary entries exist.

I block websites at the router level. Some routers have advanced parental control ft.s and some only have basic ft.s. That way they can't bypass the block by putting a Linux disc in or computer hopping.
