I will throw down any amount of money to make sure my sexy beast of a PC run like a dream.
Now what it comes down to is:
Should I buy them?
I already have Norton AV running as well as D+ from Comodo.
I'll probably disable the RTP since it's bad to have more than 1 running at the same time.
But having that Auto Scan/Update will be beneficial in the long run since I'll most likely forget to Scan/Update On-Demand
I highly recommend Malwarebytes - I have the paid version, and it just runs along nicely in the background. I do not think you will regret it.

Okay, great! If I decided to turn on MBAM and SAS's RTP will they have issues with each other or NAV?
Not with NIS2011 (I run both as resident without any problems)....Im unsure about the others though.
Your best bet is to ask that very same question in the MBAM forums....they are pretty good at answering compatibility issues between various suites. You can also add the various different suites into the exclsuion lists to limit/prevent any interference.

Get rid of Norton AV, altogether Download and run the Norton Removal Tool to uninstall your Norton product | Norton Support I've seen way too many infections get by this Anti-virus application.

Windows7 Firewall should be fine to use, but you could try Agnitum (Outpost)

If you're downloading illegal stuff using torrents, or any other P2P software, then you most likely won't be protected by paid for or free Anti-malware applications.
The "garbage" being distributed today in such downloads is extremely sophisticated!

Sometimes less can be better. I have not used an Antivirus in years preferring to run my browser in the virtual space of ultra-lightweight Sandboxie using Virus Total online and Malwarebytes context menu scanning on anything I want to download from the internet with 100% success of having 0 Malware infections.

I agree that Sandboxie can be confusing at first, but there is plenty of help on the Sandboxie Forums where the developer Tzuk posts regularly. You can learn how to set up Sandboxie so that you can safely download files from the internet and keep changes you make in the browser like new passwords.
The main problem with running your browser in the Comodo Sandbox is that you are prevented from downloading anything from the internet and you can not change or save any settings like bookmarks, but if that is no concern to you then it is quite safe and you could effectively put both Defense+ and your AV out of a job if your computer is the only one on the LAN.
