    Windows Defender Turned off and wont turn back on


    It used to work fine, im scared that theres a virus, trojan or some piece of crap blocking it on my system.
    it wont start up and gives me an error when i try to start it, screenshot attached.

    Hi Tom,

    What other anti-virus and/or anti-malware software is installed on your system?

    If you have installed MSE, then Defender is always turned off. Have you installed MSE on your system?
