I personally tie a very tight reef knot in my ethernet cable.

It's a proven fact that computer viruses and trojans cannot negotiate multiple sudden sharp bends.

This method has kept me safe since the days of connecting two empty tin cans together with a long piece of taut string.

As a backup only, I also have Nod32.

Just in case.

If you unplugged that ethernet cable, you would be even safer - LOL.

I have to say that is the most sensible security prevention I have heard recently.

Excellent!

A bowline should work well also.

What funnel size do you use to get the NyQuil into the Ethernet adaptor? The antibiotics I would rub on the Ethernet cable - it gets inside via osmosis.
