    Microsoft Security Essential

Previously i was using Avira Security Suite as my Antivrus program . I am currently using Windows 7 Home Premium ( 64 bit ) .

Yesterday i uninstalled my Avira and installed Microsoft Security Essential (MSE). I still have another 6 months to go for my Avira licence .

Just need to know by comparison which is better . Avira or MSE .

Good ..honest opinions is needed .

I agree with both of the above. Why dont you try M.S.E. for a bit, then if you dont like it (for whatever reason) you still have your Avira license to fall back on.

If the avira licese is already activated, go with it then. Wasting the license isn't good.
MSE is good too but a little basic.

I would probably prefer Avira. Had a few issues with MSE and use NIS 2011 now. But you can run MSE and Avast 5.0 together. http://www.freepcsecurity.co.uk/2010/03/09/tf2/
