Avast! Free 5.1 final vs Comodo Internet security 5.0

Hello, I have an Acer Aspire One netbook running Windows 7 Home Premium, and I need protection. It only has 1GB of RAM, so would I get Avast! free 5.1 or Comodo internet security 5.0? I was thinking of maybe MSE 2.0, but heard it is not RAM friendly.

I wouldnt use Comodo AV since its hasnt been tested and it has an okay detection. The backbone of the whole suite of comodo is the D+ which is a HIPS.

Why not use Avast Free + Comodo FW w/ D+? You get a very good AV and an excellent firewall+hips program.

For what its worth i would go with Avast! Used it for years without problems and it uses little resources.

I used Avast on my Laptop before I got rid of it, its a great AV, considering its freeware Avast gives good protection.

Ok, so far it looks like Avast will be the one on my netbook. I did like MSE 1.0, but MSE 2.0 has gotten more of a "memory hog" comparing to Avast. Plus, Avast has Web Shield, P2P, Network, Behavior, File system, Mail, and IM shields, and it still uses less memory that MSE 2.0.
