    Anti Virus AVG

I think that all the virus occured on windows vista will occur will occur on windows 7 and a bit more. So watch your chops ....

The free best anti virus that are compatible with 7 are Avast and AVG
BUT if you want a really good anti virus you should get vista kapersky or Norton(big heavy program, which will cause disturbance)

I use AVG for quite sometime :)
So far, no infection . . . and still free, fast and light.

    Kind regards.

Norton is a big No No in my books. I've had nothing buy trouble from that bloated mess of a program. Including myself ive been asked to get rid of viruses and trojans about 5-6 times, funny enough 4 of those times the computer had norton on it -.-

AVG combined with spybot Search and Destroy is my award winning key combination to a clean pc :)

Have you tried the Norton internet security 2009?
It will run with less resources and you do not need any other security suite alongwith it...

Compare results. It might be biased since i hate norton but,

Norton has a monthly subscription, AVG does not
5 years virus free with AVG, Norton pretty much failed within 6 months
Resources that AVg use < Norton's resources

IMO its clear which to have... and it has no annoying please pay now alerts -.-

I had Norton 360 pre-installed on my laptop. After the end of the evaluation period, I uninstall it : It broke my Internet connection and Antivir found 10 virus that Norton did not see.
I let to you guess what I think from Norton...
