MSE & Winpatrol
Im running win7 64, ie-9, uac is on, 7 firewall, MSE-2, and Winpatrol free. Is Winpatrol suporting ie-9, and will any apps conflict with each other? Also is it worth it to upgrade Winpatrol to plus? Thank you.

Hi, the dummy.
WinPatrol works fine with IE9. The added features in WinPatrol PLUS include the following:
- Access to WinPatrol PLUS Knowledgebase (24/7)
- Real-time Infiltration Detection
- Increased PLUS Performance
- Automatically respond and/hide specific alerts.
- Review and Remove ActiveX components
- Custom Registry Monitoring and Reg Locking
- Access to WinPatrol Cloud results
(Note: It is a one-time license fee, not an annual license renewal and you can use a single license code on any computer you personally own and use.)
Thanks for the replies. Now to my next question, Would it be better to add comodo with D+ or upgrade winpatrol? I dont know how to config the 7 firewall for outbound traffic so im guessing the default settings for comodo will save me.
I got WinPatrol Pro for $0.99 - thanks to Corinne alerting us of the special. Maybe they will do that again.
Unless your computer is infected and malware is "calling home", what outbound traffic are you attempting to block? I have found that the Windows 7 Firewall works just fine. It is inbound that you want your firewall, A/V and anti-malware to block. Of course, along with that goes the common sense as to what a person is downloading and the sites being visited.
