But does it more system resources?
it uses very little system resources during normal usage. It does all its heavy processing when the system is idle.
Uses much less memory than MSE about 12mb on my PC compared to about 38mb for MSE2.0. This is V5 5.0.0.125
It means when there is no user activity (usually mouse or keyboard activity) but the PC is still on. You can set how long since the last user activity before it starts things like scans and optimizations. The default is 10 minutes. If you come back to the PC and start using it again then the scans stop.
I know Norton 360 can perform maintenance and has a back up utility but SECURITY WISE what is the difference between Norton Internet Security and Norton 360?
go to the official site and you will find the comparatives
There is no difference between Norton Internet Security and Norton 360 security wise. Norton 360 is just like Norton Internet Security, it only has more features like Backup and Performance/Optimization Tools. Why would an antivirus software vendor treat their software unfairly/unequally security wise?
I'm using N360 v5 right now and it is a very good product.
