    Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Updated 1.39


    Recent Changes


    • (FIXED) Installer uses /updateshowdialog now instead of /runupdate.
    • (FIXED) /runupdate no longer displays program update dialog. Only /updateshowdialog does.
    • (FIXED) Problem removing registry items with (default) values.
    • (FIXED) Minor issues with 32-bit context menu. (64-bit coming soon).
    • (FIXED) Multiple significant issues with protection module.
    • (ADDED) Scanner returns error codes (error levels) for batch file users.
    • (ADDED) Protection module now logs errors and threats to a log file.

    Anyone else having issues with this new version?


    uninstalled MalWareBytes v1.37 and installed this new version 1.39

    program will not start
    i click on the shortcut get the blue circle for 5 seconds then nothing

    uninstalled and re installed with AV(microsoft security essentials) disabled
    still no joy

    any ideas chaps ??

    Hmm, uninstall it again if it's in the list. Get rid of the download file. Clean your temp files, with something like CCleaner, or manually search and look for files named Malwarebytes and get rid of them. Restart your computer, download it again, unblock it in the setups properties, and try again.

    For next time, you can uninstall the earlier good working version, but it isn't necessary, just run the update and the newer version will install over it.

    still no joy


    tried that
    uninstalled ran cc cleaner rebooted
    re downloaded re installed still wont run
    uninstalled and ran cleaner again
    reinstalled old version starts ok then updates itself to 1.39 and back to square 1 wont run again
    is there an issue with build 7260 and ver 1.39 ?

    Use revo uninstaller to completely remove MBAM and then restart your pc then install it again.
