Did you make a Windows 7 repair disk? If so, you might be able to use that.

i noticed my regedit file wasnt right is says exe. not exe but now i cant open it any way i can do it?

Yeah, I'm afraid all I can suggest is find out if explorer.exe has been deleted using Puppy Linux

any ideas how to fix regedit if i cant open it? my pc now dosent let me open it says exe. cant accept i dont think its supossed to be exe. just exe right?

i'm afraid I can't help you with any registry stuff as i've never gone anywhere near that area of windows.
yeah, it should say thing.exe not thingexe.

Have you checked with Puppy Linux yet to see if explorer.exe is fully gone?
