I Suggest Those On Ver 4.X Dump It For 5.0 Beta

All you have to do is uninstall 4.x, install 5.x and insert your license. Then you have a Pro-Version.

I have the Pro version set up on my husbands 64 bit Windows 7 machine but haven't gone to the new version yet, will probably wait till it comes down through the program update mechanism.
I have the paid version of MalwareBytes on my 32 bit machine.

The current Beta running on both of my W7 SP1 x64 computers is very stable, a lot lighter than 4.5x and scans a lot faster. Some nice features also added.

I have the Pro-Version on two two desktop computers with W7 SP1 x64. The updates so far are coming two to three times a day. Maybe not as large in terms of virus definition adds as with 4.x but certainly a lot more frequently.

I also have SAS Pro 5.0 Beta on my Netbook with W7 SP1 x32. SAS is also working fine there including multiple daily updates.

Is there any harm is having two AntiSpyware programs such a MAM and SAS?

Both are free version thus not real time protection and I'd rather not use Windows D-Offender.

No, you can have as many as you like. In fact, I have MBAM Pro and SuperAntispyware Pro running real time protection with no issues on my machine. I have Defender turned off since day one. You can have many On Demand scanners, and other than a possible conflict with running them at the same time, there is no problem. A Guy
