    Admistrator privilege problems


    I have two aacounts - one administrator one not. I am logged in as "Randy Administrator". Windows will not allow me to delete a directory in the "C:\Users\Public" area. Says I need "Administrator permission" WTF I am administrator.

    Thanks fior really confusing things MS.


    Some clarity would be nice thanks in advance

    you could always try as a first step to check your security permissions in the "C:\Users\Public" area folders, make sure administator permissions are allowed...click folder properties and then the security tab. If this is not possible try taking ownership of the folder:
