Easy change back folder & file permissions

I've made a complete mess of My Pictures folder and files.

What I did: logged in as non admin user, right clicked Picures folder, then Properties, then Security tab.
With Authenticated users selected clicked Edit next to change permissions. Gave admin password, then clicked Full control Deny box, then apply. Then stupidly disregarded the warning, thinking I could just change it back. Now every Folder and worse, every file is now inaccessible by user and admin.

Is there any way of batch changing the folders and files so that I can access them again, without having to change every one individually?

EDIT: The first folder I tried to EDIT Allow did not allow permissions on the files inside, but so far the rest have allowed the change. O well, only 132 pics in that folder to fix.

Have you tried a system restore? I don't know if a system restore can backtrack file permissions but it's worth a try. I'd do that than rather go through a ton of files to fix.
