    Recomendation for Anti Virus please

It is renewal time for my anti virus and I have Trend Micro. I have had to uninstall and reinstall four times over the last year because it couldn't update itself, so it just quit running! So I am looking for what you folks think is the best based on your experience. Let me thank you in advance! Stu

Stu mate I have been running Kaspersky ISS for the last four years on five machines it is good not expensive $50 first up then a 34% saving on the renewal cost, so for about $0.12 a day I don't want any other simply because it all depends on your computer habits for one thing and Kaspersky always rates good.

Now having said that I also run Malwarebytes real time and SuperAntiSpyware (free) and ADWCleaner (free) as on call scanners and I have had very few issues in fact none that come to mind.

So in summary it really depends who is operating the keyboard

If you are going for Paid Security again, Go for Kaspersky.

I run Avast Free and Malwarebytes PRO with real time protection active for both. Since I started using this setup, there has been no problems so far. Just remember to turn off auto quarantine as sometimes there are false positives that can potentially mess up your system. It is a rare occurrence but remember, it's better safe than sorry!

But remember too that everyone has their own opinions on what AV setup is the best.

ABSOLUTELY Imran haven't tried the 2015 yet as my licences (4) are up for renewal then I change versions - didn't particularly like the GUI of 14 preferred to older 12 & 13 versions to be honest.

by the by do you get a discount on renewal where you are? cos we get 34% discount for that:)

Kaspersky Software - Buy Kaspersky Software Online at Best Prices in India

This is where I buy. I wont get offers. But the price here is always 20-30% less than what Kaspersky advertises.
