    admininstrator rights

I have a machine with 4 users who all have should have reduced rights. While I was changing their rights I accidentally changed the adminstrators read/write rights. Now I can't change them back and have no access to C/: or read/write rights for the admin account. Anybody know how I can fix?

would be very happy for any help!

As long as the admin account can change permission setting in the "C" drive's property page, start with that.

You could also try taking ownership of the "C" driver; by default the owner is "TrustedIntaller"...

that's the problem. I can't even get to c drive. The Admin rights are completely revoked. Can't get to c form command promp even.

What I need is a user who with a higher hierarchy rights than current admin.
This machine had Windows 7 innstalled, how do I reinstall? if thats the only solution..

No. I've given up, and I'm reinstalling Window. Happily i've not installed too many programs on it anyway.
Thanks for all the help anyway!

Sorry that it turned out that a reinstall was necessary
As soon as you install all or your software and activated with your key. Be sure to make an image of the Hard Drive and put it on an external. You will never need to reinstall again.
