    McAfee Anti Virus pre installed - uninstall before activation?


    McAfee Anti Virus came pre installed on my computer. I've not activated it and would like to remove it. Would it be a simple matter of using Revo to uninstall it or is there a better procedure to follow? I've read some of these security programs can be difficult to properly remove.

    You uninstall in the normal way but then you need the free tool on McFee's site to remove what's left without that you may find you can't use the network depending on what version you have
