OK Now on the snow theme.
I reset the theme in the personalize section to architecture and all is well now.
I shall turn off the action center warnings as I have good protection.

I love Win7 and understand its not ready yet!
There is a annoying drawback to my suggestion.
The Internet icon will appear with a red X even though you are connected to the Internet.
In previous versions of Windows, you could choose to show the icon or not,. I have not been able to locate this setting in Windows 7.
