    Microsoft Security Essentials

    Hi,

I have noticed something happening regarding the above upon which I need some
    advice.

Almost daily, it is stating the my computer is "potentially unprotected" and asks for a scan. I do this and all is o'kay. I have my settings at scan every Friday but this thing is a nuisance. Any advice ?

    Are you using Ccleaner?

I was having the same problem, MSE keeps telling me I haven't scanned in a while

You need to untick this box,

Are you keeping up with the updates? They come out about every week day.

You're welcome, I haven't been bugged by it since I unchecked that. Let us know how it goes.

Thanks. I wondered what was causing some extra warnings that were not correct. Have unchecked the item.

Yes,derekimo, this seemed to do the job and many thanks. Another problem is that, in System Health Report, I keep getting a notification that it "cannot find any anti-virus on the system". I have tried a number of ways in Action Centre (unticking notification boxes) but the problem remains. Any advice on this.
