I really like this software but cannot stand the little bug on the notification area. If the developers can still make right-click scan work without the bug icon like Malwarebytes' then I'll re-download and install.

Already a new update for version 5 (5.0.1116) Can't find a lot of info about it because their main site still offers 5.0.1108, which seems strange.

Supposedly they've addressed the tracking cookie issue via a definition update. I will see.

edit: For me SAS Free is still not working properly when it comes to tracking cookies.

I ran a Quick Scan, SAS Free found 0 tracking cookies. A Full Scan run immediately after found 2 tracking cookies. I then ran CCleaner which found 168 cookies. I don't know if all CCleaner's cookies are also tracking cookies but I know SAS Free should be finding more.

The people behind SAS Free have no answer as to why the program won't find tracking cookies for me.

Hmm..I just downloaded from the Superantispyware website and I got a version 5.0.1118 for the SASPy Pro..has the 5.0.1116 been updated again? There is no change log and I can't seem to check it in their website. Has someone experienced this...? See image attached.

Someone mentioned 5.0.1118 on the SAS forum but their main site still lists 5.0.1108.

Also concerning is the fact that I have had no definition updates in more than 15 hours. I have database version 7561 which came out yesterday. It is the one listed as most recent on their site. Usually they have six or more updates in a 24 hour period.

I think there is something wrong over there.

Yeah. Downloaded the update there which read "7561.00.5373". Supposed to install it in one of my systems but will delay installation until this is fixed.

Wow, so much negativity :) I have a lifetime pro license I won. SAS has worked great since I've been using it, from free till now. Been using the pre-release ver5 for a couple of months until the release. Never an issue the whole time. A good program in my opinion. To each their own. A Guy
