    Use It

Always on at default level. When I first started to use it (Win 7, skipped Vista) It was really bothersome. I loaded a third party tool bar which I start in administrator mode when I boot. The apps that I put icons for in the bar come up in admin mode and I do not get a UAC prompt. That has alleviated the amount of UAC prompts that I get and I have now adapted to the ones that I do get and they are not bothersome. I would now prefer to run with UAC on.

    Always off.

Always on at Win default level.

MS has more experience than myself at knowing what will provide the best level of protection so I'll take their advice.

Folks are generally lazy and that is what writers or malware/viruses have learned, they look for any vunerability and usually that is human laziness and being too comfortable with a situation.

Always on, default setting. No more of a hassle than acknowledging that there are Windows Updates available for downloading. Really don't understand why some folks get upset over an extra mouse click or two every once in a while. :)

UAC annoys the piss out of me, and I have had it off since the moment I could (after installing MSE and comodo, and running a full scan)
