Comodo Internet Security 5 is basically set up for you, but their are some features a user must set to fit their needs, I use the "Comodo Proactive Security" mode, Right click the comodo icon in your hidden icons tray, go to Configuration and select Comodo Proactive Security, another thing you will want to tweak is the Stealth ports wizard, and Firewall Behavior Settings so you can select how you want your firewall to react, you can access these settings under Firewall on the Comodo GUI, all other settings are pretty much self explanatory, or you can read threw the users guide for more of an understanding about what these settings do....

The Comodo Forums are also full of advice and help to any of your questions regarding Comodo, from users who live and breath Comodo, I would start here in the Guides Section, for a quick reference to many questions new Comodo users may have.

Also youll want to select o Treat as, or allow ect when you get a popup, and select remember, so you dont get constant popups for things you trust, your going to be creating rules when your a new user, or you can select training Mode for awhile in D+ and the Firewall and use as many of your favorite apps so it can learn their behavior.

Its kinda confusing at first but you will get the hang of it fast, if you have an issue you can take advantage of the free 60 day geek buddy that comodo comes with to help you make some decisions on something you may be confused with ect!

The antivirus components do not come into play in Proactive Security Challenge.

Don't install GeekBuddy. You'll have the option to uncheck it during the installation phase. Just read each screen. After installation, we can give you some suggestions on setting up CIS. Are you an advanced user or more of a novice?
