    InstallIQ Updater

How do I uninstall InstallIQ updater on a Windows 7 Professional OS? I have attempted to uninstall the program using Programs and Features (both in safe and normal modes), however they have been unsuccessful. I also downloaded Malwarebytes but it did not find anything. Your help would be appreciated.

    Hi,

InstallIQ Updater is adware related to markeing activities for an organisation called W3i.

To remove it, follow these steps:

    1. Download RKILL from here:

    http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/grinler/rkill.com

    2. Download FREE Malwarebytes from here:

Malwarebytes : Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is a free download that removes viruses and malware from your computer

    3. Run RKILL. A cmd windows will be displayed whilst RKILL runs, and once it finishes it will close. All the processes that were killed will be written to a log - post that here. Do NOT reboot your computer.

    4. Install, update and run a FULL scan using Malwarebytes to remove any infections - post the log file here.

Now reboot your PC, and see if the software is still installed.

    Regards,
    Golden
