    Issue with Microsoft Security Essentials

    Hello all.

SO at first Microsoft Security Essentials seemed like sweet sweet free AV victory. But then I got some weird virus that was blocking the MSE service, but I fixed that and reinstalled and it was working well for a while. Fast forward to today: I can't play League of Legends (PandoMediaBooster cannot connect to the server) and I can't update Starcraft II (it just stays at 0%). I checked my firewall (all the programs required are on the allowed list) however, when I checked MSE's allowed list, there were no programs listed in the allowed or blocked sections. I can't add or remove programs and MSE never notifies me when a program is trying to access my computer. wtf?

I am a sad panda. Please halp.

Tried it, couldn't create the log. Halp me please.

I uninstalled LoL and now when I try to reinstall it via the downloader, I get this error: "Your system is currently not allowing access to our servers. Check your Firewall and/or security software settings to allow PMB.exe to run".

PMB.exe is on the exceptions list for Windows Firewall, but not MSE. However, I cannot add any programs to MSE's exceptions list.

    Hi,

How are you adding files to MSE's exception list? I just tried that and it works flawlessly - see below.
