    antivirus


    i have Panda antivirus free edition and Malwarebytes free edition installed on my computer at a time, can i download super antispyware and install?

    Hi:

    Yes.

    Neither MBAM Free nor SAS Free is an anti-virus.
    They are anti-malware tools designed to provide layered protection against threats often missed by an anti-virus (AV).

    Having said that, neither MBAM Free nor SAS Free provides real-time protection.
    They are only manual, on-demand scanners that can only REMOVE malware that has already made it past your AV onto the system.

    If you want complementary, real-time protection to help PREVENT malware infection, you would need the paid version of MBAM or SAS or Emsisoft or another of the paid, anti-malware applications.
    (My personal opinion is that MBAM is a much more robust anti-malware application than SAS. The only "advantage" of SAS is that it detects non-malware tracking cookies, which MBAM does not.)
