Opinion about bitdefender top 100 removal tool

Hi everyone today i come across to this tool. Its scan speed is slow but looks promising. Has anyone here used this tool? Can we suggest people who are infected to use this tool? The tool can be found here

    I hate bitdefender
Any perticular reason? And besides i use MBAM. Also hitman pro and SAS. I just found the top 100 scanner interesting because it can detect and remove some specific type of malware which are listed in the site. Its more like MS removal tool. Might be a good idea to run a monthly scan.

It sure is hard to beat MBAM and HMP. SAS looked promising for a while, but it seemed to peak, and now I wouldn't trust it. Same goes with BitDefender too.

well i also uninstalled it during version 4 due to low scan speed. But version 5 improved a lot interms of scan speed so i have no complain now. Besides i like SAS mainly due to its repair function, those repair function are quite helpful incase of infected computers. In terms of detection i don't quite know it doesnot detect anything besides cookies in my pc but neither MBAM nor Hitman pro.

Boy, why is so hard to choose an anti virus software ? Bitdefender, Malwarebytes Antimalware or Norton ? I have Norton 2012 cd (uninstalled) already.

Hi, barbarossa2241. Please note that Malwarebytes is not an antivirus software program. Rather, it is an anti-malware software program. If you choose to install MBAM, you still need an A/V software.

    Hey Corrine,

I did installed NIS 2012. Thanks for clarifying this for me b/c I was a little confused about MBAM's functions.
