Update to NIS 2012?

Issues certainly kept being reported in the Norton forum all the time that the 2011 version was current ..and with the versions before that one. So if you wait for issues to stop coming, the latest version might never get installed.

It can't be guaranteed that problems won't occur but I think for every poster reporting a problem, there are probably thousands of people running the 2012 version without issue. They don't post to say that though. The nature of support forums is that it's only people with problems who are likely to post in them. The happy majority don't have reason to.

If Norton is displaying the wrong number of subscription days after activation with your product key, you can try syncing your subscription with the Symantec server by opening NIS 2012, going to Support and clicking on Subscription Status. If that still doesn't work, then you can contact customer service for free via your Norton product or the Norton homepage.
