    Since nobody mentioned it i would like to say that AIS and pro both have safezone which is a nice feature. I specifically upgraded to pro for safezone i don't need the firewall because i am happy with my current firewall online armor.

    @OP

    you should take a look into the comparison chart to decide if you need the IS version or the free. Because the Free and pro and IS are mainly seperated by the set of feature they have. All the main thing like update frequency, Malware detecting engine etc are same for IS and free. So atleast for avast its quite easy to decide if you need IS or pro or free. I was a long time free user and never had any problem but recently i started online banking which is why i upgraded to pro for added security of safezone. And as for your using p2p it depends on what you download please don't use any pirated version of any program mainly security program because you won't know what the crack would actually do in your PC and besides there are many free alternative available which perform equally good or sometime better also it doesnot like just going to a adult site make you infected, in todays world no website is safe there is always a possibility that a good reputed website get hacked and if you go there you will get infected. So its always good to sandbox your browser to avoid this kind of problem and the safest practice to remain safe is to make regular backup of your harddrive so even if you get infected you can be up and running in no time.

    Hope this helps

    Have used the Virtualization of AIS and it's quite good. But SBIE is more granular. Been a long time user of SBIE paid and it has grown on me. From time to time I use Avast Virtualization mainly on Opera/SRWare Iron portable. One thing I don't like is that when you download with it and you exit, all your downloads are gone! So I use SBIE more. Just me.
