As a tester for them, I can say that if you are running the paid version, then you'll see a new feature - IP blocking. basically, it blocks known bad IPs when you're surfing so that you are better protected from malicious attacks commonly referred to as "Drive-by infections".

Well I'm just waiting for them to integrate 64 bit context menu scanning.

I've seen reports are starting to surface that the new IP protection feature is poorly implemented and causing problems. I've had to disable it on one client's system already. Hopefully, MB will realize there are some issues, solve them and issue a further update soon.

You have to realize that 1) this is a new feature, and it is nowhere near perfect - it obviously needs some work. 2) it blocks IPs based ponthe definitions list (simialr to a hosts file, if you will) and this can cause havoc on machines that are connected to a legitimate, trustworthy site that happens t use advertisement - b/c then you're talking about a lot more than one or 2 IPs to scan. and if that advertisement company is buying ads from another, who buys from multiple sources, and on of that company's sources has links to malicious vendors or advertisers, then the net result is that you get a notification of IP address blocking even though you're like 4 degrees separated from the actual IP. 3) Another problem is that it is being translated poorly - it is a feature that was just introduced, but rather than getting in touch with the regular translators or just using English across the board, they 'ad libbed' - they gleaned translations from existing words in order to get the product out into the open.

The official stance is to temporarily disable it, and I suspect that when most of the kinks are worked out a new version will automatically enable it again.
