UAC icon on MSN and asking permission.

Hi, I have a really annoying problem.

Yesterday I uninstalled MSN and reinstalled it, after I'd done that, UAC started asking permission to run MSN ("Do you want the following program to make changes to this computer?") and I have the UAC logo next to every MSN logo:

I've tried installing different versions of MSN and I've tried changing the compatibility mode to different things etc.

How do I stop this and get rid of that logo?

This link is for vista but the process remains essentially the same for win 7.

Disable User Account Control (UAC) for certain Windows Vista applications | Windows Vista, XP and Windows 7 Tutorials

That being said, I don't know why it has decided to do this to you. so long as the download source was directly affiliated with microsoft live I wouldn't be too worried though.

Thanks. The last part of that isn't working for me, I get an error message:

    "Error: Too many command-line arguments."

I actually did have another thought, it could be the fact msn is creating a log file that's causing the message in the first place. I haven't used it for years but you used to be able turn that setting off.

Right clicking the exe for it and choosing unblock is also a possible option.
