I'm trying MSE and SpywareBlaster, along with MAMB which I've always used. Hey, like I said before I'd been pretty safe over the last ton of years with nothing. Assuming I don't lose my common sense I'm hoping these additions will be strong enough to fill in the gaps.
As i said earlier mse had not too much impact on system as well on browsing speed but if you open images websites you will notice that it takes a second more to view images in compare to avast and avira

Hi there
The days of FREE AV software from 3rd party vendors IMO are numbered. Corporate protection on large company LANS is another issue but why would any 3rd party vendor spend large amounts of time (and money) in "Cracking Windows" to code their protection software and keep huge databases up to date with the latest viruses / trojans etc without getting paid for it.
MS - who actually have the source code of Windows would seem the best people to be able to protect their own OS plus also have resources large enough to regularly update the product (MSE) and database definitions.
In any case the BEST protection is YOU THE USER in safely surfing and NOT GIVING AWAY PERSONAL INFORMATION.
In spite of all warnings etc there are cases every day of people giving away Bank pin numbers etc by replying to bogus emails such as "Please verify your password and account information" -- and they wonder why there's no money left in their account.
Cheers
