thanks for the link, it seems to be the same like the one i tried the first time...it wants me to buy the program to fix all the errors... is this how the free version works or whaat?
I don't know if C|Net actually provides the current version of MBAM or if that is a typo since the current version is 1.46. Regardless, it is likely a rogue that is giving the message to purchase the program. MBAM is free for personal use.

I suggest you try the random installer from here: http://mbam.malwarebytes.org/program...-installer.php

It runs as explorer.exe and the Window name is random.

The C|Net link may be legit but it is extremely out of date and would require a hefty update.

    I run:
    Norton 360
PC Tools Spyware Doctor with AntiVirus

Works awesome, stopped everything that was thrown at me. Minimal CPU and RAM usage, great performance.

It's basically whatever you feel comfortable with.

I have McAfee (which came with the system) and MSE (Which I trust more then McAfee)

The reason for that being that MSE Caught a couple of worms/viruses going around the school that McAfee didn't.

    Firefox add-on NoScript
    Firefox add-on Foxy Proxy
    Malwarebytes
