    and AVG
If I may make a suggestion, get off AVG asap. AVG is pretty useless. I would use Avira or MSE instead. But if you want the best, get NIS2011. It was on sale last week for $9.

UAC on, All my 3rd party applications fully patched and up to date, Windows 7 up to date, KIS 2011 11.0.2.556 (a,b,d) and MBAM Pro. With KIS constantly scanning in the background with MBAM's IP Module and Protection Module, I can't remember the last time I ran on demand scanning.

I heard good things about it so I am trying it out. I have the code for free for full...also SP1 is going to RTW tomorrow and I could use an excuse to reformat if need be

    Works for Me

    Ad-Aware Pro real-time
    SAS on demand
    Mbam on demand

This works well for me on a day to day basis and on the occasion when I hook up a friend's hijacked hard drive to my machine for scanning.

My security setup on every computer (any Windows version):

    Microsoft Security Essentials 2
    SUPERAntiSpyware
    Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Free Edition
    SpywareBlaster
Web Of Trust browser add-on for safe browsing
    ThreatFire

I also decided to give ThreatFire a try again....and its much better from how I remember it. It no longer makes my computers feel like an old clunker, someone here suggested to put it on level 4, I tried that, but its way too annoying....think I'll keep it on the default level. I'll keep ThreatFire on my computers for a while, and if everything goes OK, then its a new addition :).

Its an antivirus companion, i've been testing it and it detects malware just like SAS but it is still in beta stage :)
