How to make Win 7 thinks Win Defender is not Installed

I'm trying to install Windows Defender, downloaded from Microsoft, but this message comes up "You do not need to install this software because Windows defender is included in Windows Vista...". Is there any way to make Windows 7 thinks is not installed? is not installed because i deleted the folder long time ago, but now i was thinking to give it a try.

Don't waste your time, Defender sucks.
Most anti-virus programs disable defender by default anyway. Your anti-virus might as-well.

Try installing Microsoft Security Essentials. It is full fledged Anti-virus, rather than Defender, which just checks for spyware and nothing else, and it contains the same anti-spyware engine as Defender anyways.
