    win7 virus cant remove

On my dads laptop he downloaded this win7 antivirus, a little after he started having some computer problems. so i looked at it and soon realized that it was a fake antivirus, but it has been harming the computer now i cant even connect to the internet on it. ive tried everything, i uploaded norton 360 did several scans but it doesnt get rid of it, i even a full system restore but it just restarts before i can actually do it. Any suggestion?? the laptop is an hp mini 110

Hey I have had a similar virus on my machine and let me tell you that it is a nasty bugger. But on the bright side there is a solution.

Go to this website on a different comp download the things it tells you on a flash drive and transfer them to the infected comp.
Remove Win 7 Antispyware 2012 and Vista Antivirus 2012 name changing rogue (Uninstall Guide)

If you follow the directions exactly it should fix the prob.

    It did for me :)

I've used this same strategy on a number of computers lately (fortunately not my own).

    It works. :)
