Thanks Kancerr for your prompt response looks like AVG already did the job without me, installer file no longer in the recycle bin nor virus vault checked AVG had updated 17.35pm today. Will run a full scan now but feel sure all is OK now.

    CHEERS.

Hi all. My wife had a problem with her computer tonight and it was because AVG threw up 3 instances in the windows installer regarding the trojan SHeur4. It was the same issue with AVG that the problem was too big to remove etc.

I considered using a previous restore point but opted for a defrag of the hard drive and ditto for the registry and re-boot. I ran AVG again and the problem had gone. I have no idea if this was a false positive or not but I suspect it probably may have been. Whatever I cleaned off in the defrag took this junk with it. Just something that you might want to try yourself and I hope it works for you as well.
    Regards Doug
