    unless you already have a tecnet sub (but of course that depends on what you are using it for....)
    so far according to VB 100 its a pretty good AV (its really a great business AV with a setup server and such, but it is still good as a standalone AV, really powerful though with the server components...)

I have now been using MS Security Essentials (MSE) since its conception in Sept 2009 and just upgraded to the new latest version and I must continue to say this is ONE GREAT FREE software package. It is still a very fast and in the background program that catches everything. I'm running Win7...
