    Something wrong in Windows site

Have just been in the chill out room where a problem came up that someone might have come across already.
I was in an old machine with XP and tried to open some files but was referred to the Windows File Association site http://shell.windows.com/fileassoc/*****/***** which lead me to a site that was supposedly a Microsoft certified partner or suchlike.

Now it offered a scan but after it ran it then prompted me for money to do the clean up.

A couple of members have advised me that the scanner - SpeedyPCPro is a fake one.
So anyone else come across this little app?
