Strange. MSE won't install in XP Mode, saying it failed the validation check.
I found that out the other week too.
Try downloading it through IE whilst in XP-Mode, of course the validation check will happen there and it will pass. Strange bug IMO

Aaaanyway, my recommendation is to use MSE, i've used it from Beta and have to say that, i'm very impressed.

Told earlier I'm using F-Secure Antivirus. It's true it has a lot of processes running, in my machine just now 10 processes. But these processes are consuming quite a little of RAM and almost no CPU time.

Allowing Browsing Protection Toolbar slightly slows Firefox and IE down. Personally I don't use this toolbar, my tests show no difference FSAV installed or not.

One thing that i dont like about F Secure is that there is no Pause button during scan.

nah... it doesn't really stop downloads... unless the URL where you downloaded it is on the blacklist... once the file lands in to you're hard-drive it scans it... if its a virus its gone if not then its all good =)... but it doesn't kill it while transit (DLing);P
