Self Inflicted conflicts! Opinion on solution!

    "On a different note, NIS optimization features are superior to Windows defrag."

    It has been my understanding NIS optimization uses the default Windows defrag. There is no separate Norton defragmentation program/routine/subroutine.

    Thank ya for the information, I knew that the originnal Windows defrag was purchased from Norton and incorporated into the OS. take care!

    This is good to know! I learn something new every day :)

    I still stand by liking NIS over COMODO and own both paid-for versions.
